FAQs
Do I have to be a nonprofit or creative to work with you?
I have helped for-profit communities, small businesses, schools, professional organizations, and clubs with a strong service focus. I've also worked with shorter term projects like concerts, festivals, and events. You don’t have to have tax-exempt status or be an independent freelancer to work with me.
How long does your service last?
Ongoing social media management done for you typically occurs in 3-9 month phases. It takes at least that long to get to know you or your organization and begin to see the benefits of building your online presence. 1:1 coaching takes anywhere from 1-4 hours. Either way, I’ll help you set realistic and achievable social media goals that align with your mission.
What happens when our time together ends?
I design and reverse-engineer projects with an end goal in mind: to either continue, finish, or seamlessly transfer social media management to you or a capable team member or volunteer(s). Whatever your project goals are, we’ll identify them at the onset so you are confident with what your efforts will yield, and what to do going forward.
How is what you do different from digital marketing?
A digital marketer may help you define your audience, how and where to reach them, and recommend what to post and when. This process could include branding, logo design, website audits, mailing list integrations, SEO, ads, CPCs, ROIs, KPIs, and lead generation. While this is baked into my individual process, my passion is to free up your time so you can create content and serve your mission. That may mean cultivating donations, ticket sales, butts in seats, volunteers, listeners, commissions, or simple awareness through social proof. Whatever your goal is, I help you leverage social media to reach it.
What platforms do you have experience with?
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, Messenger, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook Live, IGTV, Pinterest, BeReal, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, Vimeo, Twitch, Podcasts, Reddit, Slack, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Streamyard, Zoom, Google Workspace, Wix, Squarespace, Linktree, Metricool, Buffer, SocialPilot, MeetEdgar, and more.
I recommend syndicating your content on 1-3 channels, and they all serve different purposes.
